DC RIDES THE C&O CANAL-Day 1 With the weather in a holding pattern, we didnt know if it was gonna be rain or sunshine. With good fortune, day 1 turned out to be a dry day. After our first pit stop the sun shined through and gave us warm temperatures and easy biking for our first overnight stop in Hancock, Maryland, 62 miles away. |
