Kelly, Steve, Elvis and John enjoyed a day with lots of happy hammering with all the energetic folks framing the second floor of the 4 townhomes that we are building with Habitat for Humanity in Forest Glen. It was a beautiful day to be outside and we made the most of it helping out while gaining valuable construction skills we may someday apply at our own habitats.

It was a great feeling to know we were a small part of making someone's dream of home ownership a reality. We'll hope to get a schedule of dates for the next several months and I will forward those times to all that receive regular mail from Team DC.
